Artist Nina Naylor, an East End Community School parent, helps students attach their handmade fabric flowers to the school’s playground fence March 19. In celebration of spring, the East End in Bloom project, includes more than 400 flowers, each representing a student or staff member. The flowers will be displayed through May.
