HARTFORD, Conn. — Coco Montes capped a three-run rally in the bottom of the ninth inning with a bases-loaded double, lifting the Hartford Yard Goats to a 5-4 win Friday night against the Portland Sea Dogs.

The Sea Dogs took a 4-2 lead into the ninth, but reliever Dominic LoBrutto couldn’t close it out. After a single and a double put runners on second and third, Max George beat out and infield hit to make it 4-3. A walk loaded the bases for Montes, who lined a double to left.

Portland had taken a 3-1 lead with three runs in the third inning. Jeisson Rosario drew a bases-loaded walk, Triston Casas hit an RBI single and Joey Meneses lofted a sacrifice fly.

Grant Williams went 4 for 4 and scored twice, including on a single by Pedro Castellanos that made it 4-2 in the seventh inning.

Sea Dogs starter Kutter Crawford struck out seven in four innings, allowing three hits and one run. Reliever Denyi Reyes gave up two hits and one run in 3 1/3 innings.
