SCARBOROUGH — Chantelle Bouchard hit a three-run homer in the first inning and finished 3 for 4 with four RBI as Biddeford cruised to a 9-2 win in Game 2 of a softball doubleheader Friday, earning a split after Scarborough won the opener, 11-1.

Laura Perreault and Baylor Wilkinson also had three hits for Biddeford (10-3) in the second game. Perreault doubled twice.

In Game 1, Mollie Verreault and winning pitcher Jenna Giguere paced Scarborough (9-2) with four hits apiece.

WINDHAM SWEEPS DEERING: Brooke Gerry pitched a five-inning perfect game and went 4 for 4 with two doubles and two RBI as the Eagles (11-2) won Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Rams (0-11) in Windham.

Gerry struck out 10 of the 15 batters she faced. She hit a double in the first inning, a double and a single during an eight-run second inning, and another single in the third.

Jaydn Kimball drove in three runs with a home run and a triple, and Ellen Files had three hits.

Gerry added four more RBI in Game 2, and the Eagles scored 11 runs in the first inning on the way to a 17-2 win.

Ellie Wilson homered for Windham, and Ella Wilcox pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts while also scoring three runs.

GORHAM SWEEPS FALMOUTH: Amber Bretton pitched a two-hitter in Game 1 and went 3 for 4 with a double and a triple, and Riley Grant got three hits while earning the win in Game 2 as the Rams (7-5) won twice against visiting Falmouth (3-9), 13-1 and 14-0.

Molly Murray was 4 for 4 with two steals in the opener. Tatyana Biamby went 3 for 4 with three stolen bases in Game 2.

LAKE REGION 20, SACOPEE VALLEY 4: The Lakers (6-6) scored 10 runs in the first inning and cruised past the Hawks (7-4) at Naples.

Emily Rock had four hits, including a double. Sadie Tirrell contributed a triple and a single, and Caydence Riley and Micaela Reed also got two hits apiece.

Gabby Jamison-Martin singled twice for Sacopee Valley. Tika Eastman hit a triple.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER SWEEPS POLAND: Winning pitcher Madison Pelletier singled on a 2-2 count to drive home the winning run in the seventh inning as the Patriots (10-3) won 5-4 in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Knights (5-4) at Gray.

Maisie Lerette and Anna Gilbert each had two hits for Gray-New Gloucester.

Gilbert then got three more hits in Game 2 and Pelletier drove in three runs with a triple and a single, pacing the Patriots to an 8-2 win.

WATERVILLE 18, OCEANSIDE 6: Rylee Gilbert hit a home run and two doubles and struck out 14 for the Purple Panthers (5-4) in a win over the Mariners in Waterville.

Abby Williams added four hits and Savanna Cormier smacked three doubles.

Grace Pratt had two hits for Oceanside.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 4, MEDOMAK VALLEY 2: Chiara Mahoney had a double and two RBI to lead the Eagles (3-5) to a win over the Panthers in South China.

MacKenzie Kutniewski added two hits. Winning pitcher Hannah Huff struck out seven.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

MARSHWOOD 15, WELLS 5: Eva Moreland scored five goals to lead the Hawks (8-2) past the Warriors (3-6) at Wells.

Isabelle Young and Lindsey Goree each added three goals, and Ella Manero and Meghan Wentworth scored twice. Marshwood goalie Lily Dupree made 10 saves.

Wells got two goals from Ruby McMinis and one apiece from Summer Sullivan, Rhiannan McQuaide and Jaiden Greaves.

WINDHAM 15, THORNTON ACADEMY 4: Emma Yale scored eight goals to power the Eagles (6-0) to a win over the Trojans (4-5) in Saco.

Riley Beem chipped in with three goals. Izzy Babb and Sidney McCusker each added two and Carissa O’Connell scored once.

Hazel Stoddard led Thornton with two goals. Abby Brown and Grace Veroneau had one each.

BASEBALL

SCARBOROUGH SWEEPS BIDDEFORD: The Red Storm (10-1) surrendered three runs in the top of the first but answered with eight runs in their half of the inning as they cruised to a 9-3 win over the Tigers (4-7), completing a doubleheader sweep at Scarborough.

Ryan Barbardella threw a four-hitter for the Red Storm.

In Game 1, Scarborough took control with a six-run outburst in the third inning and held on for an 8-7 win.

Ben Seguin homered and finished with three RBI for Scarborough.

Will Harriman led Biddeford with two hits and an RBI.

SACOPEE VALLEY 16, LAKE REGION 11: Winning pitcher Grady Cummings went 4 for 5, and the Hawks (10-4) scored 11 runs in the sixth inning to rally past the Lakers (4-6) at Naples.

Lake Region scored six runs in the first, highlighted by an RBI single from Grady Garland. Dan Ross homered for the Lakers in the third inning.

MT. ARARAT 10, MORSE 0: Shea Farrell pitched a three-hitter and went 2 for 3 with two runs scored as the Eagles (4-6) shut out the Shipbuilders (3-7) at Topsham.

Kobe Clark added three hits and three RBI for Mt. Ararat, which broke the game open with an eight-run sixth.

OCEANSIDE 5, WATERVILLE 1: Nathan Coombs hit a double and a single for the Mariners (5-7) in a win over the Purple Panthers (4-5) in Waterville.

Joe Hamelin led Waterville with two hits.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 4, MEDOMAK VALLEY 1: Nick Barber had two hits to lead the Eagles (6-2) to a win over the Panthers in South China.

Blake Morrison paced Medomak with a single and a double.

SCARBOROUGH 6, BERWICK ACADEMY 5: Owen Leadley scored in overtime to give the Red Storm (6-2) a win over the Bulldogs (7-1) in Berwick.

Paddy Condon and Albert Allen each scored twice for Berwick.

KENNEBUNK 4, YARMOUTH 3: Jacob Sullivan scored three goals to pace the Rams (5-5) to a win over the Clippers (4-3) in Kennebunk.

Eli Soule got Kennebunk’s other goal.

Killian Marsh scored three goals for Yarmouth.
