Volunteers sought to help shovel out SoPo seniors

Age Friendly South Portland is looking for volunteers who are willing to shovel walkways for their senior neighbors and is offering free buckets of sand to ensure those walkways are safe.

To sign up to be a snow-shoveling volunteer, fill out the form at forms.gle/Cr3TWj87o7t1vnFk7.

Seniors age 65 or older, or residents of any age with mobility challenges, may request a 5-gallon bucket of sand for home delivery by calling public works at 207-767-7635 or emailing [email protected]
