“Right now, I’m reading ‘The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music’ by Dave Grohl, mostly because I love him and the music he’s been a part of for several decades now with Nirvana and Foo Fighters.
“I have an endless fascination with people who knew what they wanted to do from a very early age and somehow made it happen. Dave is one of those people. I heard him interviewed about the book by Howard Stern, who’s another one of those people. I don’t know if it’s jealousy or just a morbid obsession, but I have to find out how they came to their vocation and became successful at it.
“Also enjoyed memoirs by Seth Rogen and Colin Jost this year, for the same reason.”— MEREDITH FINN, Portland
