Former Gov. Paul R. LePage, who is running for a non-consecutive third term in a bid to return to the Blaine House, is scheduled to make an appearance at the Falmouth Republican Town caucus March 5.
Jennifer White, a candidate for State Senate District 25, will also attend. White ran for the same seat in 2020 and lost to Democrat Catherine Breen.
Attendees at the caucus will nominate members to the county Republican committee and elect delegates and alternatives to the state convention. Falmouth is eligible to send 39 delegates to the state convention.
The caucus will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the Falmouth Town Hall, 271 Falmouth Road.
The town clerk will be available at noon to register residents as Republicans along with people interesting in changing their party.
