On June 24, five individuals wielded their power and showed us that they care not for what the majority of the country wants. They care not for the rights, health and welfare of over half the population. They let us know that it is right and proper that we control women and have dominion over their bodies. That it is right to continue to keep women in their place. They chose to turn the clock back centuries.
They each have the title of Supreme Court justice. Justice? Justice for whom?
We have to stop. And when I say “we” I mean men, myself included. We have to stop – stop being quiet. We have to speak out about this injustice. We have to write about this injustice. We have to show half the strength and courage that women possess.
If we do not, then we are complicit with those five and share the shame of June 24, 2022.
