When Janet Mills became governor of Maine, I wrote a letter dubbing her the “Mother of Maine” (Nov. 2, 2020), telling people to “listen to your mother!” But now that I’ve found out how pro-abortion Gov. Mills is, I have to take that title from her, for my mother (God rest her soul) was always pro-life, and I have always been, too.

Now, my confusion came when I read that the governor has joined up with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program to give free books to babies and children under the age of 5.

So, which is it going to be? Does Gov. Mills want aborted babies and no books, or books for babies who are born and given the blessed gift of life, to be able to read those books?

May God have mercy on all of us, and may He bless these innocent, aborted babies with eternal happiness in Heaven.
