Community lunches resume at the Otisfield Community Hall with a menu of chicken salad, summer vegetable salads, lemonade and cookies for dessert. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 292 State Route 121, Otisfield. Volunteers needed for set-up and clean-up. Donations are appreciated. Contact George at 739-1065.
SATURDAY
Gray Fire Rescue’s annual chicken barbecue fundraiser, dinners include coleslaw, chips, a roll, and a half-chicken. Noon until sold out at the Gray Public Safety building, 125 Shaker Road. All dinners will be distributed via drive-thru and they can be preordered at grayfirerescue.org. Cost is $12. Donations also are appreciated with profits from the event used to purchase life-saving equipment for the department.
