Margaret Belanger gives her father Roger Cannell one of his multiple daily pills after waking up in the morning on July 21. Roger has bladder cancer and has chemotherapy once a week. He goes to physical therapy twice a week for injuries from a devastating fall that ended his 29-year career as a dump truck driver for Shaw Brothers Construction. He uses a wheelchair and cane to get around and is in constant debilitating pain.
