Eli Soehren connected with Lincoln Merrill for three touchdowns and Oxford Hills used a huge second half to take control Friday night in a 41-17 Class A football win over Bonny Eagle, in Standish.

Jake Carson and Tre Morrison each had a rushing touchdown for Oxford Hills (6-0). Soehren found Tanner Bickford from 33 yards out late in the fourth.

Hayden Campbell caught 51- and 44-yard touchdown passes from Cam Marcello, and Grant Abbott nailed a 25-yard field goal for Bonny Eagle (3-3).

FALMOUTH 30, BREWER 7: Indi Backman ran 80 yards for the go-ahead touchdown in the second quarter and lineman Will Gale rumbled into the end zone after an interception early in the fourth as the Navigators (4-2) defeated the Witches (1-5) at Brewer.

After Brewer took a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter, Falmouth pulled within 7-6 two minutes later when Lucas Dilworth hauled in a 40-yard pass from Finn Caxton-Smith. Backman’s run put the Navigators ahead 12-7 at the half.

Falmouth scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

SCARBOROUGH 51, BANGOR 24: De’Angelo Alston threw four touchdown passes, including a 75-yard catch and run by Charlie Murray in the second quarter as the Red Storm (4-2) built a 35-0 halftime advantage in a win over the Rams (0-6) at Scarborough.

Alston and Murray connected again early in the third quarter, and Griffin Denbow added a 29-yard scoring run for Scarborough.

Jack Schutt had three second-half touchdown passes for Bangor.

GORHAM 35, NOBLE 14: Gabe Michaud caught three touchdown passes in the first half as the Rams (1-5) opened a 28-point lead and went on to defeat the Knights (0-6) in Gorham.

Michaud’s receptions from Izak Young came from 23, 10 and 28 yards. Young also scored on a 27-yard run, and Caden Smith added a 3-yard TD run.

MT. ARARAT/HYDE 16, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: The Eagles (5-1) scored a touchdown in the second quarter and another in the third, adding 2-point conversions each time, and the defense did the rest in shutting down the Phoenix (4-2) at Livermore Falls.

WAYNFLETE 1, YORK 1: Myles Culley equalled Waynflete’s single-season record with his 28th goal of the season, tying the game 12 minutes into the second half as the Flyers (9-1-1) battled to a draw at York (3-5-2).

Sean Patch put the Wildcats in front late in the first half.

York keeper Hayden Forbes made 15 saves. Nico Kirby of Waynflete stopped three shots.
