I’m voting for Teresa Pierce to represent North Yarmouth (as well as Cumberland, Falmouth, Gray, Long Island, and Yarmouth) in the state Senate.
Teresa is a noted champion of public education, from strengthening early education to ensuring access to Maine’s colleges and universities. As chairwoman of the Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs, she helped pass a major bipartisan investment in property-tax relief. And Teresa’s record on environmental issues has been recognized in endorsements from Maine Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club. She advocates for conservation, as well as outdoor recreation and tourism (see her support for investments in the Land for Maine’s Future program, as well as Maine’s state parks).
Teresa has earned bipartisan respect during her years of leadership in local and state government, and I encourage others in Senate District 25 to vote for her, as well.
