Democrat Barry Powers has my vote for Maine state representative. He is new to politics but brings a lifetime of experience and commitment to public service to the job. He’s an excellent listener who will show up every day to represent us in Augusta.
Don’t let his gentle and calm bearing fool you. Barry will make the tough decisions and be a strong leader for all his constituents. He will not follow the demands of special interests or bend to the expectations of party leaders.
Barry is not afraid to describe himself as a cancer survivor, and the energy and the extensive door-knocking campaign he’s conducted to earn supporters demonstrate his recovery and dedication.
