The job of the state representative is difficult. You have a lot of interests, in a town such as Scarborough, to juggle in Augusta. Our current state representative, Democrat Sophie Warren, has done a very good job over the past two years.
She has been attentive to our concerns, and she listened loud and clear to our message to her when she was going door to door two years ago, to protect our beautiful natural resources in the Scarborough coastal district from climate change. She fought hard against climate change, and I know she will have the courage to continue to vote to do so – even when it is unpopular.
I will be voting for Sophie Warren for reelection this fall. I hope my friends and neighbors will join me.
