Republican Barbara Bagshaw has my support for state representation in House District 106 (part of Windham). I trust that she will be just as wise spending “our” money (we who pay taxes) as she has been in spending her own.
I have known Barbara for 40 years. I am impressed by her solid good sense financially. She has never paid any credit card interest. When she can’t afford a purchase, she doesn’t buy it. For big purchases, she saves. She did that when she replaced her roof, and again when she added replacement windows to her house. Barbara grows much of her own food. And this year – noting the anticipated inflation – she purchased chickens for eggs.
I know that level of responsibility requires careful planning and discipline, and that is what I’m seeking in a legislator. We sorely need fiscal accountability in Augusta. Barbara Bagshaw will be on board with that!
