This Nov. 8, Mainers will vote for legislative positions and a governor. The national Republicans are targeting Maine, trying to turn us from blue to red. And they want Paul LePage back as governor.

• Mills: One of the nation’s best pandemic recoveries.
• LePage: Tried to cut education funding.
• Mills: Expanded education funding.
• LePage: Refused to expand Medicaid despite Mainers voting for it.
• Mills: Expanded Medicaid, giving thousands of Mainers essential health care. One of the nation’s lowest COVID death rates.
• LePage: Climate change denier.
• Mills: Climate action.
• LePage: “Let’s do it” to outlaw abortion.
• Mills: Supports women’s right to choose.
• LePage: False election-fraud accusations; voter suppression.
• Mills: Maine as exemplar of accessible, secure, fair voting.
This November, vote Democrat Janet Mills for governor. We really cannot afford Republican Paul LePage!
