SACO — The Saco Police Department has released a traffic advisory ahead of the Dec. 3 Parade of Lights in Saco.
4 p.m. Closures
• Main Street: Closed from Beach Street to Pepperell Square
• Main Street: Northbound traffic will be detoured to either Water Street or Pepperell Square beginning at 4 p.m. Starting at 5:30 p.m., all northbound Main Street traffic will be detoured to Water Street only.
• Middle Street Extension and Summer Street: Closed, only local (resident) traffic allowed.
5:30 p.m. Closures
• Beach Street: Closed between Winter and Main Streets. Traffic will be detoured onto Winter Street and then to either Cleveland Street or King Street to access Main Street.
• James, Common and High streets: Closed, only local (resident) traffic allowed.
All road closures will remain in place until the end of the parade to ensure the safety of all participants and attendees. For event information from Saco Main Street, visit www.sacomainstreet.org
