Greg LeClair, a doctoral candidate at the University of Maine, will discuss his Maine Big Night community science project from 10 to 11 a.m. March 11 at Prince Memorial Library in Cumberland.

LeClair, who studies ecology and environmental science, will discuss the project that is designed to collect data and help amphibians that migrate, usually in a surge, in the spring and often across roadways, which can be fatal for them. Anyone may participate in the project.

LeClair will also talk about amphibian natural history and Big Night results from previous years.
