The Maine State Police tactical team, deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Boothbay Harbor Police Department were at the scene Sunday night of a shooting in Boothbay Harbor.
The shooting took place Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Reed Road, Lincoln County Sheriff Todd Brackett said Sunday night in a news release.
The male gunshot victim was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland by Lifeflight helicopter. There was no word on the victim’s condition.
Brackett said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
