Ryan Stone was 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBI, and Ben Eugley hit a home run and a double as Westbrook earned a 9-7 win over Marshwood in a Class A South baseball game Saturday in Westbrook.

Steven White and Zach Jalbert also had two hits for Westbrook (4-5), which took control with a five-run second inning, then added three runs in the fifth for a 9-4 lead.

Henry Dimmerling and Alex Hussey each recorded a single and a double for Marshwood (6-3). Dimmerling drove in two runs.

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, BONNY EAGLE 3: Winning pitcher Nolan Hobbs was 3 for 3 with two RBI and two runs scored, and the Red Riots (8-2) scored five runs in the first inning to take control early against the Scots (2-7) in Standish.

Andrew Heffernan also had three hits, including two doubles. Nick Swain drove in two runs for South Portland, which was aided by eight Bonny Eagle errors.

Hobbs allowed six hits and three runs over five innings, with nine strikeouts and one walk.

Bonny Eagle starting pitcher Cade Dixon was 3 for 3 with a double. Ryan Berry hit a triple and a single.

FALMOUTH 6, WINDHAM 2: Brennan Rumpf struck out 12 and took a shutout into the seventh inning as the Navigators (7-1) defeated the Eagles (2-6) in Windham.

Rumpf yielded seven hits and two unearned runs, and didn’t issue any walks.

Jacoby Porter paced Falmouth’s offense with a single, a double, two runs and an RBI.

Alex Wing had two hits for Windham.

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, GORHAM 3: The Golden Trojans (5-5) erased an early 2-0 deficit with three runs in the bottom of the first inning and led the rest of the way against the Rams (4-4) in Saco.

Evan Beaudette and winning pitcher Josh Kopetski each had two hits. Beck Edgerly pitched three scoreless innings in relief of Kopetski to earn a save.

Mason Fink got two hits and two RBI for Gorham.

SANFORD 9, PORTLAND 4: Ben Gil allowed just two hits through six innings, and the Sanford (5-4) scored seven runs in the first two innings of a win over the Bulldogs (1-8) at Hadlock Field.

The Spartans stole five bases during a four-run first inning. Caden Fontaine led Sanford with three hits, and Tyler Sevigny, Beckett Barlow and Cayden Gendron all had two hits.

Portland’s hits were an RBI single by Henry Bibeau in the first inning and a two-run single by Liam Fay-LeBlanc in the third.

YARMOUTH 5, MT. ARARAT 3: Jack Janczuk doubled home the eventual winning run in the fifth inning, then scored an insurance run from first base on a single by Jonny Cody in the seventh as the Clippers (6-2) beat the Eagles (3-5) in Topsham.

David Swift and Andrew Cheever combined on a three-hitter. Cheever closed out the win with two hitless innings.

Cheever, Janczuk and Cody all finished with two hits.

CONY 17, LINCOLN ACADEMY 6: The Rams (8-1) scored six runs in the sixth inning and five in the seventh to break open a close game against the Eagles (1-7) in Newcastle.

Jordan Benedict, the winning pitcher, had two hits and three runs scored. Landon Foster added three hits for Cony.

Cody Cleaveland had a home run, a single, two runs scored and three RBI for Lincoln.

YARMOUTH 12, MT. ARARAT 9: Emma Butsch hit a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in the sixth inning and went 4 for 4 with two doubles and five RBI as the Clippers (3-5) outslugged the Eagles (0-8) in Topsham.

Julia Brown, Julia Lawwill and Drea Rideout all had three of Yarmouth’s 19 hits.

Kennedy Lampert was 4 for 5 with two doubles and three RBI for Mt. Ararat. Audrey Nile also hit two double, and Lexi Dupre had three hits.

CONY 13, LINCOLN ACADEMY 8: Suri RamKissoon went 5 for 5 to lead a 19-hit attack as the Rams (1-8) outslugged the Eagles (2-6) at Newcastle.

Torrie Webber added four hits, including two doubles, to help Cony overcome a 6-3 deficit after three innings. Jasmine Mace added three hits, and Alivia St. Peter had a single, a double and two RBI.

Layla Musial was 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBI for Lincoln.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

FALMOUTH 19, SOUTH PORTLAND 7: Gio Guerrette recorded five goals to lead the Navigators (7-1) to a win over the Red Riots (7-2) in South Portland.

Cole Allen and Joey Guerrette each added four goals. Hayden Davis and Cyrus Boothby scored twice, and Drew Noyes made 13 saves for the Navigators.

Brady Demers tallied three goals for South Portland. Tobey Lappin and Beckett Mehlhorn each finished with two goals and an assist.

WAYNFLETE 11, WINDHAM 5: Dan Bigelow recorded for goals, Hoven Savory-Kriss added two goals and an assist, and the Flyers (6-2) cruised past the Eagles (4-5) in Windham.

Tobias Perkins led Windham with three goals.

PORTLAND 7, OAK HILL 4: Andy Marvin scored five goals as the Bulldogs (5-4) rallied from a 3-1 halftime deficit to beat Oak Hill/Monmouth/Lisbon/St. Dominic (7-2) at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Louis Thurston, Harry Rubin and Brady Keller all had two assists for Portland.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

THORNTON ACADEMY 11, SANFORD 3: Morgan Bolduc fueled the offense for the Golden Trojans (6-3) with seven goals and an assist in a win over the Spartans (5-4) at Saco.

Natalie Hilton, Ayala Littlefield, Emma Boissonneault and Amelia Benoit also scored.

Sanford got two goals from McKenna Nanartowich and one from Sadie Sevigny.
