Cumberland Historical Society will celebrate its grand opening and official dedication from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17.
The event will include light refreshments, tours, a behind the scenes look at what the historical society does, the opportunity to meet directors and volunteers, and the chance to view the new farming and agriculture exhibit. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m.
The historical society opened at the old schoolhouse last fall after it was moved to 264 Main St.
