Teresa R. Colpitts Elliott, born on Oct. 3, 1933, in Biddeford, passed away on June 8, 2023, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, after a long illness. She was the daughter of Thomas and Helen Colpitts. Teresa graduated from Biddeford High School before enlisting in the Army Women’s Corps, where she served for two years.
Teresa is survived by her five children: Edward Elliott, Robert Elliott, Valerie Fishbach, Elizabeth Elliott, and Vickie Elliott. She is also survived by her sister Carolyn Cahill of Dedham, Massachusetts, her brother Garnet Colpitts of Biddeford, and her brother, the Rev. Albert P. Colpitts of Saco. Additionally, Teresa is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services and burial have already taken place in Florida.
