Chandrel Mangele Laza recorded his second hat trick of the season to lead the Deering boys’ soccer team to a 5-1 win over Bonny Eagle on Tuesday afternoon at Memorial Field in Portland.

Mangele Laza scored all of his goals in the second half as the Rams (5-0-1) pulled away after taking a 2-1 lead in the first half. Ethan Fisher added a goal and two assists for Deering, while Motasim Abdalla added a goal and an assist. Nick Simon Mboumba also had an assist.

Will Tracy scored for Bonny Eagle (3-2-1).

WESTBROOK 3, MARSHWOOD 1: Paddy Walsh had a pair of goals, Marcelin Kobenan had a goal and an assist and the Blue Blazes (3-2-1) scored three times in the second half to defeat the Hawks (1-4-1) in South Berwick.

Walsh finished off an undefended loose ball just in front of the goal five minutes into the half and gave the Blue Blazes some breathing room with about three minutes left when he collected a through ball from Kobenan on the left side, beat a defender and tucked the ball into the right side of the net to make it 3-1.

Kobenan tapped home a short cross from Hassam Ibrahim 12:40 into the half for a 2-0 lead which held until Marshwood’s Owen Boyer followed up a cross from Harrison Page and struck with 10:50 remaining.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 4, ERSKINE ACADEMY 0: Lucas Houghton and Peter Thelander each scored twice as Lincoln Academy (4-0-1) beat Erskine Academy (4-2) in Newcastle.

Houghton headed home a corner kick from Pablo Iglesias Martin in the 14th minute to give Lincoln (4-0-1) a 1-0 lead in the first half. Thelander scored twice in the second half and Houghton scored once. E.J. Hunt and Iglesais Martin each had two assists.

Marcello Endrizzi made six saves in the win for Lincoln, while Caleb Gay stopped 10 shots for Erskine (4-2).

PORTLAND 6, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Max Kierstead had two goals to lead the Bulldogs (5-0-1) over the Golden Trojans (0-4-1) at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.

Kirstead scored the first goal of the first half and the first goal of the second half. Oliveira Nzolakio, Ronan Mas and Kieran Sullivan also scored in the first half, while Silvio Mbayi added a second-half goal.

Calvin Hale and Griffin Lavertu split goaltending duties and needed just one save for the win. Juan Pablo Andres Ricalde and Ilafa Garcia Sotsi-Botula combined for 11 saves for the Golden Trojans.

SCARBOROUGH 7, SANFORD 0: Kilson Joao had three goals, Kevine Paulino added two goals and the Red Storm (2-2-1) shut out the Spartans (0-4-1) in Scarborough.

Cooper Mallar and Andrew Heanssler also scored, while Seamus Corry made two saves for Scarborough.

Beckett Barlow stopped nine shots for the Spatans.

WINDHAM 5, BIDDEFORD 0: Nick Marion had three goals, Daniel Hancock and Sam Rogers also scored and the Eagles (6-0) handled the Tigers (1-4) in Windham.

Luke Cunniffe set up two of Marion’s goals. Marion earned an assist on Rogers’ goal and Connor Gallant assisted Hancock.

Dillon Emerson made two saves for Biddeford. Lukas Hammond and Tate Robinson combined for three saves for Windham.

KENNEBUNK 4, MASSABESIC 0: Drew Sliwkowski scored two goals, while Cooper Thompson and Ashton Trondle each had one as the Rams (4-1-1) beat the Mustangs (1-5) in Kennebunk.

Gavin MacDonald, Ben Rossics and Andrew Burnham had an assist each.

BUCKFIELD 5, CHOP POINT 1: Krosby Harvey had two goals and an assist in the Bucks’ (4-0) victory over the Blue Bears (0-4) in Buckfield.

Justin Lucas, Kakoa Laliberte and Tanner Cousineau also scored goals for Buckfield, and Brady Trenoweth recorded an assist. Goalie Neil Haylock made three saves.

Maddox Coombs scored for Chop Point off an assist from Elie Lemelin. Robert Conover finished with 17 saves.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1, WELLS 0: Ben Cobb scored in overtime to lift the Patriots (3-2) past the Warriors (0-4-1) in Wells.

Cobb gather a ball off the near post and put it in the back of the net 3:37 into overtime.

The Patriots outshot the Warriors, 27-7. Goalie Tristan Cutler made four saves for Gray-New Gloucester, which won its third consecutive game.

GORHAM 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Jack Luciano scored a pair of goals as the Rams (4-1-1) beat the Red Riots (1-2-2) in Gorham.

Owen Spera and Kuba Kaczmarek each tallied an assist for Gorham.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

TRAIP ACADEMY 1, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Shea Johnson scored in her first varsity start to lift the Rangers (2-4-1) over the Hawks (0-5) in Kittery.

Lily Stuart made three saves for Traip. Brianna Eastman had seven saves for Sacopee Valley.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 6, TEMPLE ACADEMY 0: Alaynah LeBlond led the Gulls (2-3) with two goals as they blanked the Trojans (3-3) in Old Orchard Beach.

Tessa Ferguson and Alexis Sweeney each had a goal and an assist for OOB. Sarah Davis and Abby Roy both scored once. Sierra Ordway had three saves in her first-career shutout.

Karissa DeWitt made eight saves in net for Temple.

WELLS 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Hayden Meffert and Caitlin Rooney each scored as the Warriors (4-1-1) downed the Patriots (2-4) at Wells.

Ellie Schlichting scored for Gray-New Gloucester.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 4, MORSE 3: Scarlett Flint had a hat trick and Grace Townsend scored the winning goal in overtime as the Panthers (4-1-1) earned the come-from-behind win over the Shipbuilders (3-3) in Bath.

Medomak Valley trailed 3-1 in the second half before Flint scored twice to force overtime.

Edie McKay had two goals and an assist for Morse (3-3), while Zoe Nicholson added a goal and Shealyn Brochu had an assist.

POLAND 2, LAKE REGION 2: Kayleigh Goodwin scored twice for the Lakers (3-3-1) in their tie with the Knights (1-4-1) in Naples.

Arianna Gammon and Thea Thornton scored for Poland.

Jillian Barnes tallied eight saves in net for Poland and Jordan Blanton had six for Lake Region.

GORHAM 2, SCARBOROUGH 1: Emerson Homa assisted on Camryn Caruso’s first-quarter score before adding a goal of her own in the third, helping the Rams (5-1) top the Red Storm (3-2) in Gorham.

Sabrina Ocampo scored with an assist by Caroline Hartley for Scarborough in the second quarter. Jamila Mohamed recorded nine saves.

Madison Tibbals made eight saves in net for Gorham.

FREEPORT 6, GREELY 1: Emily Groves scored twice as the Falcons (5-1)  beat the Rangers (2-3) in Cumberland.

Ellie Foss, Lizalyn Boudreau and Reed Proscia also scored for Freeport, while goalie Maddie Kryzak had one save.

CHEVERUS 11, MARSHWOOD 0: Lucy Johnson scored four goals to power the Stags (4-0) past the Hawks (2-3) in Portland.

BIDDEFORD 4, FALMOUTH 1: Ayla Lagasse had two goals and an assist to lead the Tigers (3-1) over the Navigators (2-1) in Biddeford.

Riley Langevin and Corinne Ramunno each had one goal for Biddeford. Kayla Magnant had three assists and Cadence Goulet made nine saves.

Elizabeth Brown scored with an assist from Coco Bruder for Falmouth. Jenna Nunley stopped 17 shots.

WINDHAM 3, NOBLE 2: Grace Joly scored two goals, Abby Trainor had one and Olivia McPherson made 13 saves as the Eagles (2-3) edged the Knights (1-2) in North Berwick.

Alyssa Plante scored twice for Noble. Trinity Valle finished with 12 saves.

SACOPEE VALLEY 2, WAYNFLETE 1: Lea Dole had a goal and an assist and the Hawks (3-0) beat the Flyers (0-3) in Hiram.

Addisen Lajoie also scored for Sacopee Valley.
