In the long but somewhat faded tradition of campaign songs (think “Charlie on the MTA”), I’ve written a jingle in support of Question 3 on the November ballot. To be sung to the tune of an old Robert Hall radio ad (if anyone remembers that one):

When the prices go up up up,
And the service goes down down down,
CMP’s the reason, no matter the season,
Dump CMP!
Vote “yes” on 3!

Unfortunately it doesn’t quite work with “Versant.” Maybe someone up north can come up with one. Then if we all sing together, real loud, maybe we can drown out the obscene amounts of our money that the naysayers are spending to defeat public power.
