Mountain Road in Falmouth, between Gray and Brooks Road, has been closed following what the town describes as a “significant water main break.”

The Portland Water District has informed the town that the water line should be repaired by approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday. But in order to fix the break, the Portland Water District asked that the road be closed to traffic Monday evening.
