Family Magic Show – Dec. 28

Be dazzled by magic with your family during December school break! Phil Smith of Abracadabra Productions is four entertainers in one… a magician, comedian, juggler, and a mentalist! Coins will melt into thin air, solid objects will pass right through each other, and there may even be a surprise guest who does a card trick! Family Trivia Night (Sponsored by Portland Pie Scarborough) – Feb. 2

Challenge your brain to a night of family trivia! Rally your friends and family members and join us for Trivia Night at the Hub! Use your noggin to answer questions for all ages in a multitude of formats using modern technology… a tablet! Each team of 2-6 players will submit their answers through the provided device. Pokémon Painting – Dec. 9

Mandala Dot Painting – Dec. 9

Mandala dot painting is a form of art known for their therapeutic and meditative qualities, which involves creating intricate symmetrical designs using dots. Mandalas have been shown in clinical studies to boost the immune system, reduce stress and pain, lower blood pressure, promote sleep and ease depression. All supplies included. All ages welcome! Magic Workshop – Dec. 28

Want to learn magic tricks and illusions BEFORE the magic show? Join Master Magician Phil Smith for this 1-hour workshop. Phil incorporates the use of household items such as playing cards, clothesline rope, and coins so you will be able to take your skills with you to dazzle your family and friends. Advice on how to improve your performance will also be provided. All participants enrolled in this class are able to stay for the live magic show running 10:30 to 11:15 am. Stuff N’ Fluff: Snowman – Jan. 25

Teen Programs

Red Cross Babysitting Course – Jan. 13

Learn the responsibilities and qualities of being a good babysitter while in a fun and interactive environment. Active Adult Programs

Christmas Lights Ride – Dec. 18 and Dec. 21

Come aboard the Community Services bus to be chauffeured through the streets of Scarborough and surrounding towns to admire the “lights of the season!” We will admire the beautifully decorated homes and streets as well as make a stop for coffee and hot chocolate along the way! Come along for this annual tradition! We have two nights scheduled for this trip: Dec. 18 and Dec. 21. Both run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Please call 207-730-4150 to register today.
