NAPLES — Tiana-Jo Carter scored a career-high 41 points to go with 15 rebounds and four blocked shots Friday night, leading Lake Region to a 64-50 victory against York in a Western Maine Conference regular-season schoolgirl basketball finale.

Jordan Turner chipped in 11 points for Lake Region (17-1), which used a 16-4 third-quarter run to open a 50-31 lead.

Mia Briggs and Chloe Smedley each scored 12 points for York (10-8).

MARSHWOOD 43, NOBLE 28: Megan McLean had seven points and five steals, and Hanna Philbrick added six points and seven rebounds to pace a 10-player scoring offense for the Hawks (8-10) against the Knights (0-18) at South Berwick.

Amber Kelly scored 16 points for Noble.

THORNTON ACADEMY 45, BIDDEFORD 31: Olivia Shaw had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead the Golden Trojans (16-2) over the Tigers (3-15) at Saco.

Kaitlyn McCrum added 10 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and four steals.

Bailey Cote led Biddeford with 13 points.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 59, POLAND 44: Maria Valente scored six of her 17 points in the third quarter as the Patriots (11-7) used an 18-6 run to take a 42-30 lead against the Knights (9-9) at Poland.

Alicia Dumont added 13 points, and Stephanie Greaton had 11 points and six rebounds.

Emily Bolduc scored 24 points and Sarah Bolduc added 12 for Poland.

WAYNFLETE 66, HYDE 26: Helen Gray-Bauer had 18 points, Leigh Fernandez scored 17, and Ali Pope added 11 points and 20 rebounds as the Flyers (12-6) rolled past the Phoenix (3-15) at Bath.

Fernandez did all her scoring in the first half, when Waynflete opened a 44-12 lead.

Diamond Brown scored 14 points for Hyde.

FREEPORT 55, YARMOUTH 36: Nina Davenport scored 15 of her 24 points in the second quarter as the Falcons (8-10) opened a 33-16 lead against the Clippers (4-14) at Freeport.

Davenport, who also had six rebounds and two assists, made two 3-pointers during a 24-13 run in the second quarter,

Olivia Dimick added 15 points on five 3-pointers, and Ashley Richardson had 10 points with six steals and two assists.

Abigail Nielsen scored 11 points for Yarmouth.

DEERING 61, PORTLAND 48: Katasia Titherington scored 25 points to lead the Rams (8-10) past the visiting Bulldogs (13-5) at Portland.

LeeAnn Downs added 14 points and Amanda Brett had 10 for Deering.

Cierra Burnham scored 12 points for Portland.

BONNY EAGLE 39, WINDHAM 32: Cassidy Emery finished with 14 points, including 9 of 10 at the free-throw line in the fourth quarter, to lead the Scots (6-12) past the Eagles (11-7) at Windham.

Elizabeth Bushey finished with 10 points for Bonny Eagle.

Sam Frost led Windham with 10 points. Sadie Nelson added nine.

GORHAM 37, WESTBROOK 35: Emily Esposito had 15 points to lead the Rams (11-5) past the Blue Blazes (4-14) at Westbrook.

Alisha Aube scored 18 points for Westbrook, including four 3-pointers.

WELLS 58, TRAIP ACADEMY 37: Alison Duplisea scored 24 points as the Warriors (16-2) downed the Rangers (6-11) at Kittery.

Jessica MacNeill had nine points to lead nine Traip scorers.

GREELY 54, CAPE ELIZABETH 38: Ashley Storey scored 12 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Rangers (14-4) over the Capers (9-9) at Cape Elizabeth.

Maddie Bowe led Cape with 11 points.

SOUTH PORTLAND 71, SCARBOROUGH 39: Brianne Maloney scored 23 points, Holly Black added 11 and the Red Riots (15-3) downed the Red Storm (7-11) at South Portland.

Jamie Sargent scored 15 points for Scarborough.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 30, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 24: Kylene DeSmith scored five of her 12 points in the fourth quarter as the Guardians (8-10) used an 11-3 run to get by the Panthers (6-12) at Yarmouth.

Charlotte Esancy scored 15 points for NYA.
