The classes, which were started by Dory Richards Waxman, owner of Old Port Wool & Textile Co, are comprised mostly of immigrants and refugees, who are there to acquire the skills they need to be placed in jobs at local textile companies. Mosau is originally from Democratic Republic of the Congo and has been living in Maine for two years.
