Maine author Sarah Braunstein, who won the 2012 Maine Literary Award for Fiction for her novel “The Sweet Relief of Missing Children,” has a short story in the current April 1 edition of the New Yorker magazine. The story is titled “Marjorie Lemke.”
To celebrate her achievement, the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance will host a reception for Braunstein from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mayo Street Arts Center in Portland, 10 Mayo St.
