YARMOUTH — Frances Ann Folchi Reagan, 94, died Dec. 15.
She was born March 7, 1919, in Bridgeport, Conn., the youngest of six children to Rose and John Folchi. She was educated in Bridgeport schools and graduated from Central High School in Bridgeport. She was married to William Joseph Reagan in 1940 and together they had two sons.
After the family moved to Fairfield, Conn., she worked as a secretary at the Bullard Company, Sturm Ruger and to two principals at Fairfield Preparatory School. She then worked as a secretary to the director of the Jewish Home for the Elderly, and finally, at the Bridgeport Mental Health Facility, retiring in 1981.
In 1985, she and her husband first moved to Camden, and then later settled in Portland. In Portland, they were parishioners of St. Patrick’s Church. They both loved to travel and spent vacations in Italy and Ireland, exploring their heritages.
She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Anne Reagan.
She is survived by two sons, William Reagan and wife, Sharon, of Yarmouth, and Thomas Reagan and Meja Reagan; grandchildren, Martha, Sarah, Rachel, Jayne, Lisa, Thomas Jr. and Christopher; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express thanks to the staff at Springbrook Center in Westbrook and Bay Square at Yarmouth Senior Living Center for the care and comfort they provided.
A funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Jan. 9 at Lindquist Funeral Home, One Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth. After the service, a brief social gathering will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yarmouth, in the spring.
