What better defines “place” than your local library? The importance of maintaining and improving a local library cannot be overstated. Libraries are places of kinship, discovery, adventure and sanctuary. In so many positive ways, local libraries define a community.
On June 25,Yarmouth voters have a chance to approve a bond issue that will add much-needed library space, provide energy cost savings, make the library more accessible for all and, most importantly, not result in new taxes as other town bonds are expiring.
Please take the time to vote yes for Yarmouth’s library renovation bond request. And then feel good about being an important part of your local library, providing important qualities for our community for generations to come.
