As my final term in the Maine House winds down, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the privilege of representing the residents of District 108. I have worked very hard to represent all of citizens of District 108 and will truly miss the diverse issues and public policy work.

I am familiar with all the candidates running and any of them would serve our area well. I know that Joe Kumiszcza, who is running for House District 108, is less known, but feels very passionately about education and jobs, especially in the technology sector.

Chris Tyll, who is running for the Senate District 11 seat, is a quick study, will not take direction from any party and will do what he feels is best for all his constituents.

I hope that you will give these qualified candidates your consideration. But most of all, please get out and vote.

Rep. Meredith Strang Burgess
Cumberland
