Summonses
2/18 Alexandra Ames, 18, of Beacon Street, was issued a summons by Sgt. Daniel Couture on Beacon Street on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
2/22 Vickie Griffin, 21, of Oak Street, was issued a summons by Officer Richard Ross on Chandler Drive on a charge of theft.
2/24 A 17-year-old boy, of Phippsburg, was issued a summons by Officer Ted Raedel on Lincoln Street on charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bungled break-in?
2/26 at 11:50 a.m. Officer Andrew Booth responded to the report of a burglary to the Public Works facility on Oak Grove Avenue. Entry was reportedly gained by breaking a window at the rear of the building, but it is unclear whether anything was taken. Motion lights may have been activated and scared the burglar off, police said.
