Falmouth Sgt. Kevin Conger adjusts a new bullet-proof vest on K9 Maxi as Wayne Robichaud, of Oxford, looks on. Robichaud and his family raise money to purchase police dog vests through collection tins at various businesses throughout Maine. Robichaud’s daughter, Jennifer, began the program in January 2009 as a high school project. The family has donated six vests, including this one, to various Maine police departments.
