Freeport firefighters arrive on the scene of a fully involved barn fire Thursday, May 27, at approximately 1:45 p.m. at 152 South Freeport Road. Flames eventually threatened a nearby house and spread into the woods; although the barn was a total loss, the house was saved. Mutual aid was provided by Yarmouth and Brunswick.
