AUGUSTA — Gasoline prices continue to fall in Maine, but not as fast as they are falling nationally.
The website MaineGasPrices.com said Monday that the average cost of a gallon of gas in Maine had dropped by nearly 4 cents in the past week, to $3.48. Nationally, prices dropped by 8 cents a gallon, to $3.25.
Maine prices are now 12 cents a gallon lower than a month ago, but 14 cents higher than on the same day last year.
