In Time magazine recently, tucked in among articles about Mother Teresa, Brazil’s Dilma Rousseff, and Russian hacking, was an article about Gov. Paul LePage’s vulgar voicemail. Imagine the embarrassment that is felt by the people of Maine when they see their governor’s bad behavior being called out again on an international level. This feeling is made worse because the representatives we elect enable this sort of reprehensible behavior by failing to stand up to this schoolyard bully.
Unlike state Rep. Mike Timmons, R-Cumberland, who has failed to represent his constituency and toes the GOP line in cases like Knights Pond, Wormell’s Farm and net metering, Democrat Dale Denno will confront those who behave like Gov. LePage. Intelligent, honest, and industrious, Dale is flexible-thinking enough to work with another party and to represent our town. Please vote for Dale.
