I support Republican Bart Ladd for state Senate in District 25. A Boston native and veteran U.S. Air Force pilot, Bart moved to Georgia when he was hired by Delta Air Lines. He was elected as a state representative and state senator there in the 1990s. He has an impressive record of passing legislation and working across the aisle for positive change. He created and passed the largest property tax-cut bill in Georgia history, and having returned to Maine a number of years ago, he intends to repeat that for Maine. As a Republican in the minority, he was sought out by Democrats to be the prime Republican co-sponsor on their important legislation. Bart has proved that he is the right person to work in a bipartisan way to guide Maine through these challenging times.
