The South Portland sixth grade girls team celebrates after winning the 17th annual Westbrook City Paper Classic Tournament championship recently.
The win was the girls’ second tournament victory in as many weeks, as they captured the Brunswick sixth grade tournament two weeks prior to winning in Westbrook.
The 6th grade Lady Riots defeated Greely, Portland -Lincoln, Boothbay Harbor to reach the finals where they defeated Gardiner 42-34.
