SANFORD — Police in two states are investigating whether the same person robbed pharmacies earlier today in Sanford and Rochester, N.H.
Detective Sgt. Jason Wagner of the Sanford Police Department said the departments are working together to determine if the same suspect was involved. No one has been arrested.
The Sanford robbery took place at the Rite Aid on 464 Main St. around 12:45 p.m. while the Rochester robbery took place early toay at the Walgreens Pharmacy on South Main Street.
Wagner said the Sanford suspect implied the use of weapon, and left with an undisclosed amount of pills. No injuries were reported.
