BIDDEFORD – Tyson Nadeau scored three goals Wednesday night to lead Biddeford to an 8-0 victory against Portland in a schoolboy hockey game at the Biddeford Ice Arena.

Jon Field stopped 12 shots for the shutout for the Tigers (8-0-2) against the Bulldogs (5-7).

SCARBOROUGH 3, KENNEBUNK 1: Zach Pettingill scored twice, including the winner three minutes into the second period, to lift the Red Storm (3-6) over the Rams (4-8) at Biddeford.

Jack Rousselle added a third-period goal for Scarborough and Doug Pitts made 35 saves for the win.

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

YARMOUTH 6, PORTLAND 5: Arie Potter scored three straight goals in the final 7:29, including the winner with one second left, as the Clippers (4-10) rallied past the Bulldogs (4-9-2) at Portland.

Raechel Allen had four goals and one assist for Portland. Her fourth goal was her 100th career point.

CHEVERUS 2, CAPE ELIZABETH-WAYNFLETE 1: Dana Maloney and Katie Roy scored in the first five minutes and the Stags (9-4-1) held off Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete (3-11) at Portland.

Hannah Dineen made it 2-1 from Lucy Crane with 3:24 left.

BIDDEFORD 6, GORHAM-BONNY EAGLE 1: Jenna Roy had three goals and an assist to lead the Tigers (5-9-1) over the Rams (0-14) at Biddeford.

Alex Quigley added two goals, Haley Reny also scored and Kellie Renk had two assists for the Tigers, who broke it open with a three-goal second period.

ST. DOMINIC 3, GREELY 2: Lauren Ratsep scored her second goal 2:22 into overtime to lift the Saints (14-1) over the Rangers (8-4-1) at Falmouth.

St. Dominic went ahead 2-1 on unassisted goals by Ratsep and Kayla McLellan in the second period.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

CAPE ELIZABETH 43, WAYNFLETE 34: Cam Brown, Joey Doane and Chris Robicheaw each scored 12 points to pace the Capers (10-3) past the Flyers (7-5) at Cape Elizabeth.

Joe Veroneau scored a game-high 23 points for Waynflete.

BIDDEFORD 63, MASSABESIC 44: Robert Cote made three 3-pointers and finished with 13 points, and Chance Baldino added 10 points to lead the Tigers (5-7) past the Mustangs (0-12) at Biddeford.

Nathan McKeown chipped in with nine points for the Tigers.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 44, PINE TREE ACADEMY 35: Ben Hammond scored 18 points and Ryan Murray added 13 to help the Lions (2-10) pull away from the Breakers (1-13) at Falmouth.

Trailing 22-15 at halftime, Pine Tree cut the deficit to 24-22 midway through the third quarter before the Lions pulled away.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 59, NOKOMIS 51: John Murray had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and the Panthers (10-3) hit their free throws down the stretch against the Warriors (7-6) at Waldoboro.

In the fourth quarter, Murray was 4 of 5 from the line, Isaac Durkee and Kyle Durkee each made 3 of 4 foul shots, and Isaac Greenrose made both of his free throws.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

SACOPEE VALLEY 34, HEBRON ACADEMY 31: Amanda Villineau scored 17 points for the Hawks (6-5), who held off a late charge by the Lumberjacks (6-6) at Hebron.

Trailing 16-14 at halftime, Sacopee outscored Hebron 16-2 in the third quarter.

WAYNFLETE 61, HYDE 26: Lydia Stegemann had 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Flyers (11-3) cruised over the Phoenix (2-7) at Bath.

Rhiannan Jackson, Martha Veroneau, Samantha Oakland and Liz Lewis added nine points apiece for Waynflete.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 46, PINE TREE ACADEMY 24: Susie Gonzalez scored 21 points and Elaine Beech chipped in 10 for the Lions (7-4) against the Breakers (2-10) at Falmouth.

The Lions went ahead 20-6 with a 14-4 run in the second quarter, and closed with a 15-3 run.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 57, BUCKFIELD 35: Katie Hatch had 17 points with 10 rebounds and the Seagulls (6-8) started each half strong against the host Bucks (2-11).

Gillian Foss and Christina Coleman each had 10 points for the Seagulls, who opened with a 14-7 run and outscored the Bucks 18-6 in the third quarter.

THURSDAY’S BOYS’ BASKETBALL

TRAIP ACADEMY 57, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 54: Nathan Westman had 24 points, including four 3-pointers, as the Rangers (7-6) topped the Seagulls (8-5) at Kittery.
