SANFORD — The Experimental Aircraft Association invites pilots and non-pilots to stop by the seminar hangar at Southern Maine Aviation, 199 Airport Road, Sanford, Saturday to learn about two local chapters and hear about a biplane.
EAA chapters from Biddeford and Rochester, New Hampshire will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Organizers say John Ricciotti will make a presentation about his 1934 Waco S3HD biplane, the only civilian version of this 200-plus mph biplane ever built. The biplane will be on display at the presentation, weather permitting.
Organizers say there will be a potluck lunch afterwards, and are asking people to bring food.
