CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire transportation officials are holding a public hearing on a proposal to replace Memorial Bridge over the Piscataqua River.
The hearing will be held Wednesday in Concord, at the Department of Safety’s fire standards and training facility. The hearing will be on the proposed construction method.
The bridge was built in 1923 and connects Portsmouth and Kittery, Maine, on Route 1. It also is the only river crossing for pedestrians and bicyclists.
