Arlene married Lloyd Pond on December 19, 1942 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. They resided in Maine after World War II and moved to Bath in the 1950’s. They had two daughters Tami Miller and Cheryl Peaslee. Arlene was a stay at home mom then worked as a secretary at Fisher Mitchell School for many years. Arlene was the epitome of a mother and was what every mother should aspire to. She loved family more than anything in the world and dedicated her life to loving her daughters, son-inlaws, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had a smile ready, open arms for a hug and kind words to share. Her love and generosity will remain forever in the hearts of her family.
Arlene was predeceased by her grandson, Patrick Peaslee, her sister Eleanor Santora and brother Frank Steeves.
She is survived by her brother Eugene Steeves, her daughters Tami Miller and Cheryl Peaslee, her son-inlaws Timothy Peaslee and Andrew Miller, her grandchildren, Matt Fitch and his wife Diana, and Ryan Fitch, Daniel Miller and Andrew Miller, Barrett Peaslee and Caitlyn Peaslee ; her great grandchildren, Brooks Peaslee, Mason Peaslee, Riley Fitch and Lily Fitch as well as many nieces, nephews, inlaws and relatives.
