The issue of no longer providing public assistance to illegal immigrants is only a symptom of the real problem.
Why have these people abandoned their homelands? How is it that many feared for their lives? How is it that their governments were allowed to become so dysfunctional that leaving was the only option?
The only logical answers to these questions is that they had no means of self-protection and righteous retaliation. They did not have the equivalent of our Second Amendment.
