SCARBOROUGH — A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. has arrived in Maine.
The wall, which is 20 percent smaller than the original, arrived in Scarborough on Wednesday with a state police and motorcycle escort. It will be on display through Sunday at Cabela’s.
WMTW-TV reports that Vietnam veterans, honor guards and bagpipers will join together on 10 a.m. Saturday for a special ceremony to honor those who have served in the military.
