The word “loyalty” has a warm and loving feeling. This was recently shown by the employees of the Market Basket and their support of the company’s fired CEO.
This loyalty to a man who treated them like human beings and not just a number really paid off. Maybe other big companies should take notice.
Foreign trade is necessary in this day and age, but if some of the big companies that have moved overseas would return out of loyalty to the United States, our ailing economy would get a much-needed boost.
I’m 86 years old, and this is my first attempt to try a letter to the editor – only because of the word “loyalty.”
PS. Buy only things made in America – if you can find them.
