WELLS — The Wells Public Library has reopened after closing last week when its roof collapsed under snow.

The library resumed normal hours Tuesday, according to Allison Herman, the assistant director.

The front part of the library and the meeting room remain closed, and all adult non-fiction books remain inaccessible.

The Friends of the Wells Public Library Book Sale will continue.

It’s estimated that repairs will take one to two months.
