The River Comics will return to the Franco stage on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 46 Cedar St. in Lewiston. The stand-up comedians include headliner Jim McCue, featured comedian Ian MacDonald and rounded out with comedian host Nick Gordon.

McCue went viral this year with his DryBar special “Nothing Personal” which has had almost 5 million views. He has been featured on Comedy Central, Comcast Comedy Spotlight, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” RedEye on Fox News, Live at Gotham AXS. and several appearances on the “Bob and Tom” show. McCue founded and currently runs The Boston Comedy Festival.

Ian MacDonald

Featured comedian MacDonald placed third in the finals of New England’s Funniest Comedian Competition 2022, was a contestant in The River Comic’s Maine’s Wicked Funny Laugh-Off Contest 2021, a finalist in Maine Event Comedy’s Tightest Five Competition, performed at the Bricks & Bridges Comedy Fest 2021, the Portland Maine Comedy Festival 2022, and was a regular performer at Empire Comedy Club, including the “Make ME Laugh” game show and “Ignorant.” Independently, he produces weekly comedy at Stroudwater Distillery and Thompsons Point. MacDonald is the newest member of The River Comics, Comedy Productions. He can be seen performing throughout New England and beyond.

Nick Gordon

Host Gordon is a stand-up comedy writer, performer, and producer. He has dabbled in podcasting and voiceover work and enjoys any opportunity to make people laugh. His style is ever evolving, and he just might be one of the best comics you’ve never heard of.

Doors and cash bar open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door day of the show. Tickets can be purchased by phone at (207) 689-2000, online at francocenter.org, or in person at the Franco Center’s box office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Parking is in the mill lot. The building is ADA accessible on the Lincoln St. Alley side.
