Two-time Olympic figure skating medalist Michelle Kwan will make stops in Maine on Tuesday to stump for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Kwan will appear at Clinton’s regional offices in Bangor at 12:45 p.m., Augusta at 3:45 p.m. and Portland at 5:30 p.m. Members of the public interested in attending an event should visit hillaryclinton.com/me.
Kwan’s Olympic records include a silver medal in 1998 and a bronze in 2002, and she is also a five-time world champion. Before joining the Clinton campaign, Kwan served as senior advisor for public diplomacy and public affairs and the first public diplomacy envoy for the U.S. State Department.
